Even those who are pursuing the same goals? Everybody can do anything but you! Its always you they don't want to support because if you succeeded and got out, oh my goodness! Everybody would be free!
Wow! I can't believe how young I was. This was in middle school. And 13-year-old Sonya would be so proud of the woman she has become today. I set out to fulfill my dreams as young as 13 and I had all odds against me. Family was poor. We didn't have much money. I didn't have the knowledge nor the resources to get started with a music career, and circumstances really played a big role in setting me back. But I did not allow that to deter me away from that dream. I sought out with tears to make this dream come true. And now, after an entire lifetime; I am finally seeing it come to pass. It is beyond what I thought it could become!
Once I got my foot in the door back in 2020, I realized that some dreams don't happen overnight. You've got to build them. And you've got to believe in your dream, even when others don't. Even when those who are around you don't see it.
Looking back on all the potential I had, why was I so overlooked and underestimated? Why was it that I found myself hitting a wall? I was unable to move forward with this dream for so long. Everything worked against me to keep me from it, it seemed. This really bothered me. Yet it only worked to fuel me more!

Why do they refuse to support me but do so for other family/friends who were pursuing the same thing?
An honest question I may ask. I will speak from my own personal experience. Do you know why you are having a hard time trying to get to where you are going? No matter how hard you work, it seems you are continuing to hit a wall. It seems like, no matter how hard you try; every time you move up you get pulled right back. All the time it seems like you are fighting this resistance that just won't stop hindering you from moving forward. Yet you know in your heart that you're supposed to be further than what you are. But for some reason, even though you may see your breakthrough from a distance, its like that star that seems so far and out of reach.
I'm going to tell you from my own personal experience. You think you are only fighting against the devil. But what you didn't know is that the devil got a little help. Do you know who that help was? Those toxic people and family witches you were surrounded by.
When you are a chosen one, and God is using you, when you are anointed of God to be used to break generational curses in your family, that makes you the main target in your family. How did I know this about myself? Because every time I wanted to do something I always hit a wall and was either shown why I 'wasn't able to' or why 'it could never happen for me'. Everybody else can, though. If there is another family member or friend that is pursuing a similar goal, they get the support they need, they get the recognition, they get the endorsement. But when it comes to you they would speak doubt over your situation or simply not support you.
And I'm sitting here wondering: "Why God? Why are they treating me this way? Are they showing favoritism? What is with this partial treatment I am receiving from my own people?"
I could talk about my future music career all day. Even show people how far I've come with the said goal. But I've been often told that it is not likely that I will succeed. I could talk about living for God and they will talk about how I am being ridiculous with my standards and way of living. I could talk about becoming a game developer and many will tell me about how bad they think video games are and how our kids should be doing different things.
Whenever you are trying to break away from those chains of bondage the world put on you, there are always those who will try to speak doubt over you. They are always trying to put fear of failure into you... that you should not be doing what you are doing. They always want to keep you bound because you have an assignment on your life. See... they probably don't even know it. But they are yielding themselves to the wrong spirit. And this is why you need to keep quiet about your dreams and blessings. Because God is using you to break these chains around you.
Moving forward, don't be loud about your blessings. Don't tell your dreams to small minded people.
There are monitoring spirits that watch everything you do to see if you are trying to break through. Many are under the influence of demonic spirits and don't even know it. These spirits don't want you to succeed. You are the one that is going to be used to break things, those generational curses; and this is why you were always the target growing up.
Everybody can do anything but you! Its always you they don't want to support because if you succeeded and got out, Oh my goodness! Everybody would be set free! And these demons influencing these people who speak doubt over you don't want people to be set free. That's why they got to keep bound with doubt. That's why they always go after the head, and that is what you are: the chosen one! They wanted to keep you locked up, but they couldn't. Because God has come. He has come to set you free! But you got to be quiet about your blessings!
Why didn't they support me when I could finally do it?
Listen, I'm speaking from my own personal experience and passing it along to you. I've been through the trials. I've pushed through the obstacles. I left behind the hurtful lies spoken over me by people. I put it all in God's hands and began to follow his plan for my life and believe what his word says about me. Once I was set on solid ground, I received a new perspective that changed my life. And when you learn to look through God's perspective and leave behind the distorted lens of this world, your life will never be the same! What you went through before, that hindrance that kept you stuck in the mud? You will never have to go through that again in your life!
I have fought and I have fought. I kept pushing. I pushed until I couldn't push anymore! I pushed past things that they told me that I couldn't do. I accomplished things that they thought I could not accomplish. And now I'm coming out on top. This is what happens when you follow the purpose God has place in your life. God gives us dreams for a reason, because he has a purpose for us. I'm just here to remind you to keep on going. But also stay quiet in this season about what God is doing. I mean that! Because those witches that were around you... they don't want you to succeed! And you're going to have to be quiet. And I'm telling you, you will never have to go through that again as long as you gain that new perspective that only God can place in you. You're going to be free. No more bondage. No more shackles. No more chains. No more of that. You are going to be free in the name of Jesus! Speak that blessing over your life. You will never have to go through that again. You made it! And you are going to continue to succeed!
Why wasn't I able to accomplish those dreams when I was young?
First off, know that its not too late if you didn't get to do it in the past. Imagine that!
Don't feel discouraged about the things that didn't happen in your past that you felt should have happened. I'll tell you why. God knows best. God is not going to give you all your blessings while you're on contaminated soil. He knew that the foundation that you were on was corrupt. He knew the people around you would curse everything that he tried to give you. Like a newborn baby, they'd curse it in the womb. And this is why God didn't give you a lot of things that you knew in your heart that you were supposed to have. He knew not to give it to you... yet. Why? Because they were ready to curse it!
Whether it was my dream music career, marriage, a game business, or whatever it was that I dreamed of: he knew they would try to curse it. He had to make sure the coast was clear. Because he couldn't have them curse what he was trying to bless me with.
Don't make a sound about what you've got going on. Stop posting what you've got going on. Stop talking about what you've got going on. You keep it between you and God. Because people are watching. They're monitoring you. Them spirits... think about being behind bars. And these dark spirits are just walking back and forth past you... trying to see what you're doing, trying to see if you're coming up with ideas, seeing if you are trying to escape.
Don't move. Don't say anything to anyone! Just be still. Because God is coming to set you free! He will lift you up out of there and once God does that, you won't ever have to go back!
The power of the dream!
Do you understand that when you have a calling, you don't need to seek wordly validation. You don't need anybody on this earth to recognize God's gift in you! Because when the time comes for God to show everybody the gift in you, you and nobody else will be able to hide it.
Grasp this! There are some of you that feel discouraged because your momma didn't see the gift in you, and daddy didn't see the gift in you, and your brothers didn't see the gift in you, and your teachers didn't see the gift in you, and your next door neighbor, and your boss, and your co-worker, or your spouse, or your children, and nobody saw the gift in you. But God knows what he put you on this earth to do! Never underestimate your dream! Never underestimate those gifts. Never underestimate the anointing! Your dream is powerful! Your dream is dangerous!
So instead of seeking worldly endorsements and validation, seek Godly counsel!
"The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: But he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. A fool's wrath is presently known: But a prudent man covereth shame. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: But a false witness deceit."

I became successful because I never gave up. Sometimes, you have to take what life hits you with and keep pressing forward. That's how winning is done!
Catch the star that holds your destiny. Never underestimate the Power of the Dream!
