Never stop dreaming!
I had a mysterious dream on March of 2018 that has stood out to me to this very day. A dream that I believe isn't just for me, but countless dreamers out there! And if you are a person with an unrealized dream, read on!
The dream of the unfinished sculpture
Every day, as I navigated the unfamiliar streets of my new town on my way to work or school, I relied on a bus route to get me where I needed to go. I had yet to memorize the route back home, so I followed a series of buses that would eventually lead me back to my destination. One crucial transfer point was in front of the bustling supermarket on the main street.
Day in and day out, I followed the same routine, trekking from one bus stop to the next, navigating the bustling streets and crowded sidewalks. But one fateful day, as I was making my way home, I lost my way. Then something extraordinary happened!
Suddenly, as if the universe had hit pause on the chaos around me, I felt a divine presence. It was as if the Lord himself had intervened, gracing me with a vision unlike any other.
In the midst of the hustle and bustle of urban life, I was struck by a vivid image—a breathtaking sculpture, radiant in its beauty yet unmistakably unfinished.
He lead me to this old man I knew, who was older than I (in his 50s) He seemed to be well known within his community and had a following. He was a rough character, not exactly your church going type. He also was a man you wouldn't expect to respond to a message from God, and yet the Lord spoke to me about this man and gave me a message for him.
I entered into his chamber where he and his people gathered around. I began to envision the unfinished sculpture. I put the message in my own words.
"I have a vision of this beautiful yet unfinished sculpture.
Your accomplishment/work is one in the same, beautiful, yet unfinished. Finish what God has put in your hand to do. Even if it may seem hopeless, even if you feel like you can't. You must finish that sculpture so it will be able to fulfill its purpose.
God puts dreams in our hearts for a reason, because he has a purpose for us, and he wants us to realize those dreams."
The man began to weep right in front of his servants and daughter who was standing right beside him. I reached out to comfort him and pray with him.
After the work was finished, I turned around but as I glanced back, the people were gone. I walked out of the shrine. That was the end of the dream.
My reflection on the dream
Have you ever experienced a moment of divine clarity, where the chaotic noise of the world fades away, and you're left with a crystal-clear vision? In this dream, I had such an experience, one that left me profoundly inspired and reflective. As I walked through the bustling streets of my new town, I was suddenly struck by a vision of a beautiful yet unfinished sculpture.
In that moment, I felt a powerful message resonating deep within me. It was as if God Himself was speaking directly to my soul, reminding me that my own journey, my own life, is akin to that unfinished sculpture. Beautiful in its potential, yet incomplete in its realization.
Reflecting on this vision, I realized that each of us carries within us the seeds of greatness, the potential to create something truly remarkable. Yet, all too often, we allow doubt, fear, and uncertainty to hold us back. We hesitate to pursue our dreams, afraid of failure or rejection.
But as I stood there, captivated by the image of that unfinished sculpture, I heard a voice urging me to push forward, to embrace the work that God has put in my hands. It was a gentle yet insistent reminder that even when our dreams seem daunting or unattainable, we must press on.
Like the sculptor who tirelessly chips away at the stone, shaping it into something magnificent, we too must persevere in our pursuit of purpose. Even when the task ahead seems insurmountable, we must have faith that God has a plan for us, a purpose that is waiting to be fulfilled.
For it is God who plants the seeds of dreams within our hearts, who whispers to us in moments of quiet reflection, urging us to step out in faith and pursue our passions. He has given each of us unique talents and gifts, not to be squandered or ignored, but to be cultivated and shared with the world.
So, I encourage you, dear reader, to take a moment to reflect on the visions and dreams that stir within you. Embrace them wholeheartedly, knowing that they are not simply idle fantasies, but glimpses of the purpose that God has ordained for your life.
And remember, even when the road ahead seems uncertain, even when the task at hand feels overwhelming, you are not alone. God is with you every step of the way, guiding you, empowering you, and equipping you to fulfill your destiny.
So, go forth with courage and conviction, knowing that you are a masterpiece in the making, a beautiful yet unfinished sculpture, waiting to be brought to completion by the loving hands of the creator.
Morale lesson
I rose to success not because of luck or privilege, but because of my unwavering determination. From a young age, I harbored grand dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter and a game creator. But let me tell you, those dreams were not served on a silver platter. Oh no, they were forged through years of perseverance and resilience.
Picture this: setbacks lurking around every corner, naysayers casting doubt like shadows over my aspirations, and storms raging to shake me to my core. Life, my friend, can throw punches that hit harder than a heavyweight champion. But here's the thing - it's not about how hard you're knocked down, it's about gaining the strength to rise again, dust yourself off, and keep striding forward.
So how did I apply this dream to my life? How do you handle set-backs?
Remember that iconic line from Rocky? "It's not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." That, my friend, is the essence of winning. So, when life throws its curveballs, take the hit, absorb it like a champ, and then, with unwavering resolve, keep marching forward. That's the recipe for success - resilience, determination, and an unshakeable belief in your dream.
The result?
This year, I finally published my first full music album. It's been quite a journey trying to make these dreams come true, since I was a teen. people thought I was being unrealistic, I'm sure. But I just couldn't stop dreaming of making music. Yes, I was a teenager in this picture because I was a teen when I wrote most of these songs. However, I am going to be posting some more recent pics on my album covers from this day forward.
Never stop dreaming, guys. I'm 40 and am doing this. I know some people hit that wall and think it's too late. It's not. Don't live in the past. Live now. Follow your God-given purpose. I started building this dream at the age you see me in this picture. It didn't happen overnight. It was the year 2020 before I actually started to see things unfold for me. I was 36 when I started publishing my first songs and games. Now I have 3 published games, a full music album, and some remixes. Check them all out!
You can also check out my 3 published games on Steam! Dreams and Nightmares, Space Beastz, and Foothold!
I became successful because I never gave up. And today I have something to show for it after years and years of hard work and determination! And you, too; can be successful if you put your trust in the Lord, have faith in your dream, and work for it. Realized dreams are not a matter of chance but a matter of choice.
Embrace the beauty of the unfinished. Just as a sculpture starts as raw material and transforms into art, our lives are works in progress. Despite the challenges, push forward with what God has placed in your hands. Fulfill your purpose, realize your dreams. They're there for a reason—to be lived, to be shared. Keep sculpting your masterpiece. #Dreams #Purpose #SynthwaveInspiration
